*The Post City Hall hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. City Hall is located at 105 East Main Street, which is at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway. We can also be reached by calling 806-495-2811.

Cal's Hometown Revival features an episode showcasing Post, TX, during the Post Stampede Rodeo. The episode focuses on Calina Mishay's visit, where she explores the town's culture and creates a mural based on her learnings. Cal is inspired by the rodeo's western culture and interacts with the community. 

The show is about Calina Mishay traveling to small towns, learning about their history and culture, and then creating a mural to revitalize the town and its people. The episode in Post, TX, showcases the town's rich history and the people who make it special. Cal's Hometown Revival's Instagram posts a behind-the-scenes video of Cal's visit. 

The show aims to provide a break from current events and offer a glimpse into small-town America. Cal's visit to Post, TX, during the rodeo is a highlight of the season. The episode is available on Destination America and on the show's YouTube channel. 

City Profile

Presently the city enjoys a diverse population of about 4,790 residents, with a variety of small to medium businesses, including:

The city employs a staff of 30 persons. In addition to Administrative and Public Works, including the Street and Sanitation departments, the city also provides services from the Garza County Sheriff’s department and Fire department.

After Hours Emergencies

If you have an after-hours emergency relating to a water leak or sewer stop, please call the Garza County Sheriff’s office at 806-495-3595. They will contact a city employee on call.
