CITY OF POST

TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT – LOCAL PARKS FUND

The City of Post will hold a public hearing at 5:30 pm on July 15, 2025 at Post City Hall, 105 East Main Street, Post TX 79356 in regards to the submission of an application to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for a 2026 Local Parks Fund grant. The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the plans for the local park application. The city encourages citizens to participate in the development of this local park application and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to the City Manager at Post City Hall, 105 East Main Street, Post TX 79356. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact the City of Post to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact the City of Post at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Citizens who wish to comment, but are unable to attend this hearing may submit their comments to Rhett Parker, City Manager at 806-495-2811; or email rparker@postgarza.net.
